Can I buy my eSIM before I travel?

Yes, and we recommend it. Buy and install it days ahead while you're on Wi-Fi at home. It stays inactive until you reach Dakar, so setting it up early costs you nothing.

When does my validity period start?

Only when you arrive and first connect to a local network in Dakar. Buying and installing the eSIM beforehand does not start the countdown, so you can get everything ready before you leave.

What if I'm already in Dakar?

No problem. Install the eSIM and it connects within a minute, so you're online straight away.

How do I install my eSIM?

After checkout we email you a QR code. On your phone, open Settings, then Cellular or Mobile data, tap Add eSIM, and scan the code. Installation takes under a minute.

What if my device isn't compatible?

Almost all phones from 2018 onwards support eSIM. If for any reason you can't use yours, including not being able to install it, we'll refund you straight away. You can check your model with the Check compatibility button on this page.

What if I can't use my plan?

If your plan is unused and something stops you from using it, you get an instant refund. No forms, no waiting.

Will I pay any roaming or extra fees?

Never. You pay once for your plan and that's it. There are no roaming charges and no surprise bills.
